Anthony C. Mymo, 71, of Austintown died Saturday February 10th at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown.
He was born November 20, 1946 in Warren to Sam and Betty Jane Neff Mymo.
He was a 1964 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and also attended Youngstown University.
Tony was employed on the railroad and as a metallurgist for Republic WCI steel for 34 years and also served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He loved his Ohio sports teams, his family, and especially his grandchildren who he would frequently tell “I love you to death.”
Tony will be deeply missed by his daughter Melanie Prida and her husband Michael of Clayton N.C., two brothers Sam Mymo and his wife Peggy of Niles, Gary Mymo and his wife Michelle of Niles, sister Linda Rouzer and her husband Gary of Niles, three grandchildren Lainie and Zachary Prida, Kyra Mymo, and his longtime companion Shirley Bacher of Mineral Ridge.
At Tony's request there are no services. He will be buried at a veteran’s cemetery in North Carolina. Material contributions may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund 1235 S Clark St, Arlington, VA 22202.
