Dora C. Perone

Dora C. Perone, 87, of Girard, died at 9:13AM Monday February 27, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Eastland in Warren after a short illness

She was born August 23, 1929 in Niles the daughter of Albert and Giovannina Flarey.

Dora was a 1947 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, a beautician for 20 years at John’s Beauty Salon, and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles. She was very devoted to her family and was known by family and friends for her excellent Italian cooking.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Joseph C. Perone  whom she married October 10, 1948, two daughters, Diane Perone of Texas and Joette Sokol and her husband Stan of Girard, two granddaughters, Amber Fagan of Texas and Lindsey Sokol and her husband Tyler of Howland, a  sister, Betty Ann LeMasters and her husband Dave and a step-brother Sam Accordino and his wife Angie.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her step-father Phillip Accordino, two  brothers, Dominick Flarey and  Anthony Flarey, a step-brother Russell Accordino, two sisters, Laura Infante and Mary Poli, and two step-sisters, Marion Tricomi and Carmella Ettaro.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7PM and from 11:30AM to Noon Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM Thursday.

Funeral Services will be held noon Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
