Dorothy A. “Dot” Bianco, 90, of Niles, died at 7:45AM Saturday September 24, 2016 at Concord Care Center of Hartford.
She was born June 1, 1926 in Niles the daughter of John and Helen Carmella Buccella.
She was a 1944 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed at Hoffman’s Department Store in Niles, and a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, The McKinley Heights Mutual Benefit Association, enjoyed playing bingo, the slots, and loved her cats.
Her husband Carl T. Bianco whom she married May 15, 1946 died July 24, 2000.
She will be deeply missed by a daughter Candace Christy of Cortland, a daughter-in-law Linda Bianco of Niles, two grandchildren, Shelley Perrett and her husband Robert and Jodi Clark and her husband Chad, four great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Madisyn, and Gavin Clark, and Connor Perrett.
She was preceded in death by a son James Bianco, two brothers, John and Frank Buccella, two sisters, Mary Mrazik and Florence Griffith, and a son-in-law Larry Christy.
Friends may call Tuesday from 12PM to 1PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles
Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
