Elizabeth Koch, 97, of Niles died at 9:30AM Tuesday September 12, 2017 at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland.
She was born August 17, 1920 in Girard the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Barton Powers.
Elizabeth was a 1938 graduate of Girard High School and employed as a secretary to the executive of production planning at Republic Steel for several years retiring in 1978. She was a member of First Christian Church in Girard, enjoyed golfing, traveling, and camping.
Her 1’st husband Edward Reapsummer died in 1946.
Her 2’nd husband Wayne Koch died in 2001.
Elizabeth will be sadly missed by a grandson, James Koch( Jennifer) of Girard, a great-grandson, Jared Koch of Girard, and a nephew David C. Powers of Youngstown.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Koch and a brother David J. Powers.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
