Eva M. Stigliano

Eva M. Stigliano, 96, passed on to her Heavenly reward on Thursday, December 21, 2017, leaving her large contingent of family and friends to imagine how they will live in a world devoid of her amazing grace, enduring strength and boundless compassion.

Born in Youngstown on November 7, 1921, to Sam and Constance Panza Bernardo, Eva was a consummate homemaker and the loving mother of four who enjoyed cooking, jigsaw puzzles, mall walking, sewing and crocheting. As a devoted pastor's wife, she served as pianist at God's Chapel, a modest Columbus, Ohio-area church established by her husband, Dominick M. Stigliano, whom she married on October 3, 1942.She also served as district secretary of the Northwest District CCNA.

Eva is survived by two sons and their wives: Vincent and Cheryl Stigliano of Warren and Jerry and Kelly Stigliano of Orange Park, Florida; two daughters and their husbands: Elizabeth and Ron Crognale of Delran, New Jersey and Debra and Chuck Gohn of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by a sister, Clara Bottroff, and her husband Mert of Huntington Beach, California, as well as 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband Dominick, her sister, Eleanor Reigle and her three brothers: Gene, Frank and Ernest Bernard.

Eva's funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at The Niles Christian Assembly with Rev. John Mizgerd officiating

 Friends are invited to call and pay their respects two hours prior to the service.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery with arrangements managed by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
