Fannie M. Marr

Fannie M. Marr, 96, of Niles died at 5:52PM Tuesday January 9, 2018 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren.

She was born March 5, 1921 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Lawrence and Isabella DelGiudice Pascarella.

Fannie was a 1940 graduate of New Castle High School, employed as a beautician at Lewis Weinberger and Hill Beauty Salon and Strauss Department Store in Youngstown. She was also a hostess at Alberini’s Restaurant for 8 years retiring in 1976 and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles.

Her husband Anthony A. Marr whom she married July 6, 1940 died August 16, 2009.

She will be sadly missed by a daughter Toni Weeks and her husband Kenneth, with whom she made her home, four grandchildren, Shawn George and his wife Lori, Robin Vaccaro and her husband Chase, Brian Weeks, Kevin Weeks and his wife Kelly, nine great-grandchildren,three great-greatgrandchildren, and son-in-law Roy George of Niles.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Sally George, a grandson Mark George, 10 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery in New Castle

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
