Grace I. Champlin, 95, of Warren died at 11:08AM October 24, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital.
She was born October 30, 1921 in Warren and was the daughter of John and Margaret Allen Swindler.
Grace was a 1939 graduate of Howland High School and a Youngstown College graduate with a 2 year secretarial degree. She was employed at The Trumbull County Court House, Warren Auto Parts, and Pittler Automotive. Working for 45 years. She was a member of Bolindale Christian Church in Warren. She was a lifetime member of The Women of The Moose in Warren as well as a poll worker. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband.
Her husband Clyde A. Champlin whom she married June 12, 1953 died November 11, 2010.
She will be sadly missed by two daughters, Carolyn Altsman Szabo and her husband Dick of Cortland and Claudia Cox of Reno, Nevada, three grandchildren, Anthony Frasca, John A. Szabo and his wife Rebecca, and Todd R. Szabo, and six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Amelia, Alivia, Summer, Emily, and Sierra.
She was preceded in death by three bothers, Jack, Roy, and Fred Swindler.
Friends may call Monday from 10AM to 11:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral Services will be held 11:30AM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Ray Blasko officiating.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, material contributions can be made to The Cortland Chapter of The Loyal Order of The Moose Lodge, 6400 State Route 46 NE, Cortland, Ohio 44410.
