I will never forget how kind your father was. Always respectful of my parents. In fact, something I will never forget is that my Dad was one of his campaign workers when Mr. Parise ran for mayor. Even though my Dad had to curtail his campaigning due to health issues, he still supported your Dad. In fact the day after the election, after my Dad came home from the hospital after major surgery, who came to visit but your Dad! This was just one example of his thoughtfulness. And Jo Marie, you especially are in my prayers, as I know from personal experience what it's like to move home and care for a parent. your Dad had a great caregiver!

We send our sincerest condolences to the Parise Family. We admire many members of your family. Ann enjoyed working with Joe when he was mayor and she was auditor. May God bless your family at this difficult time. Sincerely, Jim and Ann Ford and Family.

It was my extreme honor to serve Mr. Parise, an American Hero, during my time at the Veteran's Clinic. He always had a warm smile, tender heart, and genuine appreciation for the least little kindness or care offered. My prayers for Jo Marie, his sweet, devoted daughter, and the entire family as you celebrate the amazing life of your Father. He blessed so many during his life and all who were privileged to have known him have had their lives enriched.

The prayers of the faithful community at The University of Notre Dame are with the Parise family. The City of Niles and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church were both blessed for many years by the service and witness of Joe Parise. We mourn his passing and celebrate the many gifts he brought to the community.
