Lella Leclerc

Lella Leclerc, 87, of Liberty Township, died Friday September 22, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born August 13, 1930 in Differdang, Luxembourg the daughter of Sabatino and Angela Mariani Durastante.

Lella was employed for 20 years at Northside Hospital as a surgical nurse and for 21 years at Eye Care Associates in Youngstown as a private scrub nurse retiring in 1995. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, cooking fabulous meals, and Seneca, New York Casino trips with friends.

Lella will be remembered for putting family first and her caring ways. She had a beautiful heart with a love for sharing and helping others.

She will be sadly missed by a daughter Patricia Crossley and her husband Duane of Mentor, a sister Fanny Salvador and her husband Amedeo of Niles, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond whom she married July 5, 1952 and died June 4, 2011, and her parents.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 7:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
