Margaret M. Trombitas, 90, formerly of Niles, died Saturday September 13, 2014 at her daughter's residence in Liberty, Missouri.
She was born December 24, 1923 in Joliet, Illinois the daughter of Thomas and Pauline Dezee Pauson.
She was a graduate of Lockport High School in Lockport, Illinois, a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church of Niles, VFW Women's Auxillary, and a volunteer at Hillside Hospital.
She enjoyed singing, art, musicals, the theatre, and loved watching football with her husband.
Her husband Charles G. Trombitas whom she married May 10, 1947, died December 5, 2013.
Margaret, who was a loving wife and mother, will be deeply missed by two sons, Larry Trombitas of Niles, and Mark Trombitas (Renee) of Poland, two daughters Charmaine DeVite (Edward) of Liberty Missouri and Charlyn DeCola (John) of Howland, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Harry Pauson.
Friends may call from 6PM until the time of the 7:30PM funeral service Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Bishop Edward A. Devite of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
