Patrick M. “Patsy” Migliozzi, 70 of Vienna, unexpectedly passed away at his residence Monday January 22, 2018.
He was born June 7, 1947 in Warren the son of Vincenzo and Julia Theodore Migliozzi.
He was a 1965 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, attended Youngstown State University, and was employed by Fisher Foods/Fazio’s until 1990 when he and his wife became the proud co-owners of Austin Village Sparkle Market, now Parkman Sparkle, in Warren, Ohio. The business grew to include Reynold’s Sparkle Market, Greenville Giant Eagle, and Brookfield Giant Eagle. In 2012 he and his wife retired from the grocery business.
Patrick was of the Catholic Faith , member of The Youngstown Grocers Association., enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and of course his dogs, Shane and Zoe. He had a passion for fishing, and boating on Lake Erie with his children and brothers. Pat was proud of his largest fishing adventure when he caught a sailfish while on vacation in Mexico. His favorite vacation spot was The Outer Banks, North Carolina where he vacationed with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Kathleen Miller Migliozzi of 47 years whom he married May 2, 1970, two sons, Christopher Migliozzi and his wife Angela of Gahanna, Ohio and Patrick Migliozzi and his wife Rebecca of Fairborn, Ohio, a daughter Stacie DelliQuadri and her husband Carmine IV of Howland, four brothers, James Migliozzi and his wife Roberta of Ravenna, Paul Migliozzi and his wife Gail of Howland, Joseph Migliozzi of Niles, Michael Migliozzi of Warren, a sister Pauline Raschilla and her husband Raymond of Niles, five grandchildren, Carmine and Carly DelliQuadri, and Vincenzo, Ryan, and Santino Migliozzi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Patrick M. DelliQuadri, and a sister Sannie Weeks.
Friends may call from 5 to 8PM Wednesday and 9:30AM to 10:15AM Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Warren preceded by a 10:15AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
