Peggy Ann Tackett, 79, of Niles, died at 11:34PM Monday May 15, 2017 at Southwest Commons Assisted Living in Strongsville.
She was born July 23, 1937 in Niles the daughter of Heman and Grace Villio Estes.
Peggy was employed for 33 years as a cutter at Packard Electric retiring in 1995, enjoyed crocheting, gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Her husband William A. Tackett Jr. whom she married July 27, 1956 died October 3, 2010.
She will be sadly missed by four daughters Vicki Fisher of Medina, Sherri Jones and her husband David of Howland, Traci Barber and her husband Tony of Hermitage, Pennsylvania and Billi Jo Kirkwood and her husband Larry of Brunswick, a brother James “Doodle” Estes and his wife Joanne of Buena Park, California, a sister Gloria Jean Martin and her husband Jim of Niles, and three grandchildren, Stephanie Roshala, Ryan Kirkwood and Bethany Kirkwood.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Rev Mike Sabella officiating.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
