Robert L Greenfield

Robert Leroy Greenfield, 86, of Girard, died at 8:58AM Monday March 19, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital.

He was born August 26, 1931 in Niles the son of John L. and Hannah M. Loomis Greenfield.

Robert attended Niles McKinley High School, was employed at LTV-Warren Consolidated retiring in 1989, and owned and operated Bob’s Taxidermy. He was a member of The Ohio Association of Taxidermist, The Professional Taxidermist of Ohio, and The National Taxidermist Association. He was also a member of The Vienna AmVets, Cortland Moose, Girard Eagles, American Legion, Senior Johnston Center, Niles Scope, and served in The United States Army during The Korean War.

His first wife Stella Patrone Greenfield whom he married November 24, 1948, died May 11, 1991.

His second wife Mildred Gearhart Greenfield whom he married June 13, 1997, died August 7, 2003.

He will be sadly missed by three sons, Glenn Greenfield of Cleveland, David Greenfield and his wife Terri of Cleveland, and John Greenfield and his wife Susan of Niles, a daughter Sue Ann Greenfield of Hanover, Pennsylvania, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, and his companion Mae Hartley.

Per his request there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
