Robert E. Strohl

Robert E. Strohl,  81 , of Warren, died at 5:35PM Wednesday November 18,2015  at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland.

He was born March 16, 1934 in Warren the son of Wilbur and Helen Watson Strohl.

Robert was a 1953 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, employed for 5 years by The Warren Police Department and for 30 years at Delphi Packard Electric as a Mechanical Engineer retiring in 1997. 

He was a member of The Trumbull Boat Club, V.F. W. Post #1090, enjoyed camping, fishing, and a United States Army veteran from 1958-1960 having been stationed in France.

His wife Shirley Lightner Strohl whom he married October 10, 1958 died September 19, 1998.

He will be deeply missed by several nieces and nephews, friends, and his faithful dog Shorty.

He  is preceded in death by his parents, a brother William Strohl, and  a sister Marilyn Strohl McNaughton.

Friends may call Monday from 4 to 6PM and Tuesday from 11AM to Noon at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral Services will be held noon Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Greg MacDougal officiating.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery where Bob will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
