We are so sorry to hear of you father's passing. Roger Ryan and I lived at the Bentley apts. and got to know him well. When we moved to the Girard Manor, we would still keep in touch tho mostly at the thurs. eve. church dinners. Ruth Tarr from the GM got to know him there also. He was the kindest, sweetest man we have ever known and we had many jokes re: diff.people and politics. He is at peace now. We will never forget him and his constant smile! I really can't express exactly how the passing of your Dad makes me feel, other than very, very sad. He and I had a special bond that would be hard for most people to understand. I was so happy that we got to talk before he passed. I will treasure those moments and all of the talks and visits over the years. I cannot come and say goodbye to him as he and I did that already. I want the last memory to be the big smile he always had on his face. I don't expect you to understand, but I hope you can. God Speed, TK....You will never be forgotten. Carol

'Uncle' Tommy was one of the kindest men I ever met and although we unfortunately did not get to spend a lot of time together, he certainly made an indelible impression on me! I loved his laugh, his warmth and even though I was a complete stranger to him at first (and shy) he didn't let me feel that way for long! He accepted me into his family with open arms and amused me with funny anecdotes about all the people I didn't know throughout several family gatherings. I will miss him and I can't imagine how badly his immediate family must feel: my heart goes out to them. Cheers to you Tommy: I am baking a pumpkin pie in your honour.

Deb, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad passing and I'm so glad I got to see him last week and hold his hand. He was such a kind, gentle, happy man. I always looked forward to my visits with him every 8 weeks over these past 3 years. You were a wonderful, loving, devoted daughter and he loved you very much. He talked about you all the time and was thrilled and very proud when you came to work at Scope and he was able to see you at lunch every day thru the week, even tho he had to sneak a piece of cake when you weren't looking. :) Again, my sincere sympathy and I'm so sorry I will be unable to come to the Funeral Home.
