Trudy H. Perry, 91, formerly of Niles, passed away on Saturday July 30, 2016 at JoAnne’s House Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Born February 19, 1925 in Germany, she was the daughter of Alfred and Emillie Gerstner Hamprecht.
On August 28, 1948 she married Charles E. Perry in Germany.
Trudy enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a passion for tending to her yard and flowers, snow skiing, visiting her ski-chalet/home in French Creek, WV. that they built together. After his death she enjoyed traveling there with her Grandson Rodney. She also enjoyed baking cookies, having garage sales and spending time with her “Little Sweeties” Cole, Jules and Brooke.
Trudy retired from Mahoning Glass Niles Plant (GE) in 1986.
She leaves her daughter Karen Walters and son-in-law Denny Walters whom she made her home with for the last 3 years in Bonita Springs, Florida. A son, Charles E. Perry Jr. of Crown City, Ohio. Granddaughter Holly Money (Kevin) of Niles, Ohio. Grandson Rodney Walters of Bonita Springs, Florida. Her great-grandchildren Cole, Jules and Brooke Money of Niles.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5pm until the time of the 6pm funeral service at The Joseph Rossi & Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
