Barbara Curry, 78, of Niles died at 2:48PM Saturday December 23, 2017 at her residence.
She was born August 21, 1939 in Warren the daughter of John Anthony and Barbara Koren Hunyady.
Barb was a 1957 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed as a waitress at The Old Main in Niles, a home health care aid, and a member of Niles Christian Assembly.
Her husband Gary N. “Duke” Curry whom she married March 28, 1960 died October 21, 2014.
She will be greatly missed by her three sons, Frank Curry and his wife Mona of Anchorage, Alaska, Brett Curry of Portland, Oregon, and Bart Curry and his wife Lori of Mentor, Ohio, three brothers, John Hunyady of Niles, Robert Hunyady of Niles, and James Hunyady of Niles, four sisters, Catherine Mohn and her husband Glen of Girard, Linda Juhasz of Niles, Susan Holbrook of Niles, Patricia Rue and her husband Tim of Wadsworth, five grandchildren, Jessie, Robbie, Nicole, Garrett, and Taylor, and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Braelyn, and Isabelle.
She is preceded in death by a son Gary Lee Curry.
Friends & family may call Friday January 12, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Niles Christian Assembly.
Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
