Obituary

Betty (Wolfe) Antenucci of Warren, Ohio, died peacefully on September 20, 2019, surrounded by family.
Betty was born August 25, 1929, in Niles, Ohio, the daughter of Anthony and Vera DeChristofaro Wolfe.
A 1947 honors graduate of Niles McKinley High School, she was employed for two years in the Radiology Department of Trumbull Memorial Hospital, and was office manager at Antenucci, Inc., for 22 years. In 1949, Betty married husband Thomas N. Antenucci, who passed away September 20, 1994.
Through the years, she was a parishioner of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, member and president of the guild at Saint Mary’s Church in Warren, and a founding member of both Saint James and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Churches in Warren.  She was also a CCD teacher, member of Saint Joseph’s Hospital auxiliary, and a proud den mother. An avid reader, excellent artist, she enjoyed painting, cooking, knitting, crocheting, crewel and needlework, and above all, spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She highly valued education, music, athletics, and the arts, and was an active school volunteer. Welcoming in-laws and friends into her family, she shared her wisdom and love freely, teaching how to laugh and find joy in life and face adversities with grace and determination.
Betty will be deeply missed by her family: four sons, Attorney Thomas Antenucci and his wife Sharon Trumbley of Abingdon, VA, Dr. Joseph “Jody” Antenucci and wife Victoria of Austintown, OH, Dr. John Antenucci and wife Patricia Yocca of Gahanna, OH, and Dr. Robert Antenucci of Howland, OH; three daughters, Betsy Antenucci Kuhn and husband Steve Kuhn of Howland, OH, Margaret “Peggy” Antenucci of Madison, CT, Dr. Christina Antenucci and her husband Dr. Michael Raddock of Shaker Heights, OH; sisters-in-law Rita Wolfe of Niles, OH, and Nancy Wolfe of Stow, OH; grandchildren Thomas, Nicholas, Anthony, Laura & Gino, Joe, Patrick, Step granddaughters, Lauren & Louise, Stephen, Natalie & Faruk, Sean, Cedar, Will, Rachel, Lilah; and great-grandchildren Lillian and William; daughter-in-law Brenda Antenucci, and dear family friend Margaret Blasse.
