Charles Cromley Obituary

Charles T. Cromley Sr, 76, of Niles and LaBelle, Florida, passed away at 3:21PM Tuesday July 16, 2019 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth’s Youngstown Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born October 14, 1942 in Warren the son of Ralph and Mary Thomas Cromley.

Chuck was a 1960 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and employed for 30 years at General Motors Lordstown retiring in 1995.

He was a member of Harvest Christian Assembly in Warren, Niles Jaycees, Army-Navy Garrison Post 106 Honor Guard, Boy Scout Troop 31 Scoutmaster in Niles, and LaBelle Woods Riders. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, fishing, boating, and an avid Ohio State University and Cleveland Browns fan.

Chuck was a United States Army and Army National Guard Veteran having served as a Military Policeman.

Memories of Chuck will be carried on by his wife Karen S. Wright Cromley whom he married October 14, 1972, two sons, William Robert and his wife Sue of Warren, Charles “Tom” Jr. and his wife June of Piqua, Ohio, a daughter Gretchen J. and her fiancée Amanda of Wentzville, Missouri, seven grandchildren, Samantha, Brent, Angelina and her fiancée Christopher, Jessica, Elizabeth and her husband Jonathan, Victoria and her husband Brandon, and Cassie, two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Penelope, and his Aunt Ruthie

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother Laurie, and a sister Shirlee Thompson.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7PM and Saturday from 10 to 11AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Chuck will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard at 11AM Saturday followed by funeral services officiated by Pastor Ron Biehl at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Burial will be in Greenhaven Cemetery.
