Edith I. Davis, 95, of Niles, passed away at 7:40PM Saturday May 18, 2019 at Continuing Health Care of Niles.
She was born July 25, 1923 in Braceville Twp, Ohio the daughter of Perry and Theo Carr Kistler.
Edith was employed as a cook at several restaurants in Ashtabula and Warren, Ohio as well as in Florida and Texas for 30 years retiring in 1985 and enjoyed drawing and being around little children.
Her husband Sam Davis whom she married in 1967 died in 1994.
She will be sadly missed by her son Thomas Helsley and his wife Beverly of Prescott Valley, Arizona; a brother Richard Kistler and his wife Dottie of Georgia, a sister Wyn Montgomery of Warren, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons Dennis Helsley and Terry Helsley, two brothers, Robert Kistler, and Fred Kistler, and four sisters, Ruth Osborne, Kathern Bickel, Helen Gaumer, and Mildred Smith.
Cremation has taken place. There are no calling hours or services.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
