I cannot find the words to express how sorry I am to hear of Emily's passing....she was my Godmother & I lost touch with her after my mom, Rita Coller, passed away....I regret this immensely. She was such an amazing woman...I will never forget the memories she created for me growing up...my prayers will be with those of you who were close with her & my heart aches for the time I lost.

So sad to have just learned of Emily's passing. She was a special friend of my mother and father. She took me on my first trip to NYC to a star trek convention! We called her the snow bunny. So many wonderful memories..Loved hearing of her many adventures! Love always.

I worked with Emily for years. She was my mentor. She will be sadly missed! My kids remember her when they were little (now in their 30's). She was an exceptional teacher and good friend. May the Lord comfort her family, and bring peace in this difficult time.

We are sad to hear Emily passed away. She was a kind, compassionate, loving woman. She was a great teacher at Niles, Kent State, and Youngstown State. I enjoyed working with her at Kent State and my husband, Jim, shared many years with her at Niles. She will be missed.

Miss Lazzio was an inspiration to all her students. Her love for her profession was evident to all who experienced her talent. The year I was honored to have her as my teacher was 1963/1964. November 22, 1963 was a day we will never forget where we were when we got word of our presidents assassination. We all prayed with Miss Lazzio's direction and the pain in her heart and tears for our great loss that day. She will be remember with much love always. May she continue to be our angel!
