Jacqueline D. Tolen, 91, of Niles, died Friday November 29th at 12:15 a.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Niles.
Jacqueline was born March 13, 1928 in Warren, OH; the daughter of Angelo and Mary Conselmo Quaranto.
She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and also Warren Business College.
Jacqueline was employed for over 30 years in public relations as the spokeswoman for Packard Electric in Warren. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and a member of its Lady Circle. She was a polling officer for Trumbull County elections, volunteered at the Packard Museum, was very active in her grandchildren's activities and also enjoyed ceramics.
She will be deeply missed by two sons, Jack Salerno of North Carolina, Tom Salerno of Niles, two daughters, Mary DeSimone of Niles and Toni Marie Bologna of Michigan, six grandchildren, Holly Carter, Hope Spaniola, Anthony DeSimone, Gina DeSimone, Angela Troutman, Tom Salerno, three great-grandsons, Richard, Vincent and Gino, and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters Leanora Scott, Ivadine Costello, and Anna Badome.
Friends may call Monday from 1:30pm until the time of the 3:30pm funeral service at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Entombment will be in Girard Cemetery.
