John N. Revezzo

John N. Revezzo, 69, of Niles, passed away Thursday June 27, 2019 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center Warren. 

He was born May 19, 1950 in Warren, Ohio the son of Pat M. and Beatrice Ross Revezzo. 
For some, finding a career is a choice. For John, teaching was his preordained vocation. By age five he was playing ‘classroom’ with siblings and friends. John graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1968 and then pursued higher education at Kent State and Youngstown State Universities where he received degrees in education. 
For more than 38 years, John taught Speech-English at Niles McKinley High School and served as the school’s head speech coach. A hall of fame coach with an award named in his honor, John made an impact on his profession. Perhaps his greatest legacy though will be the impact he had on his student’s lives. John cared deeply for his students, and his legacy of uncompromising excellence will be felt for generations to come. 
He loved music, movies, theatre and his cats Gus and Griz. He donated generously to causes including St. Jude and animal welfare. 
John was preceded in death by his father Patrick. He is survived by his mother Beatrice LeCursi, brothers Patrick Revezzo (Patty Revezzo) and Nicholas LeCursi (Jody LeCursi), and sisters Kathy Budd (Ed Budd), Jeannie Molody (Bob Molody) and Anne Komiensky (Mike Komiensky) as well as many nieces and nephews. 
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. At the end of calling hours, there will be memoriam where friends and family will be invited to speak. 
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles followed by Burial at Niles City Cemetery.
