Louise Ann McQuown, 86, of Hermosa Beach California, formerly of Liberty, died at 7:56 AM Saturday February 25 at her residence.
She was born May 20, 1930 in Niles the daughter of John and Mary Frances DeCristefero Iezzi.
Louise attended Niles McKinley High School, employed at Alberini’s Restaurant and at General Motors Lordstown for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, Blessed Mother Society, United Auto Workers, and enjoyed knitting and traveling.
Her husband Carl McQuown whom she married July 1, 1981 died September 14, 2014.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Mary Frances Gleeson of Hermosa Beach, California, three step-sons, Rick McQuown and his wife Gretchen of Columbus, Ohio, Randy Parker and his wife Char of Auburn, California, and Bob Parker and his wife Kathy of Warren, , two sisters, Vita Powers and Rose Marie Jadloski both of Niles, three grandchildren Kathleen Wogoman, Bonnie McQuown, and Clay McQuown, and two great-grandchildren, Stella Wogoman and Curren Wogoman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother James “Sonny” Iezzi, and three sisters, Elizabeth Rura, Edith Salerno, and Yola Iezzi.
Friends may call Friday from 8:30AM to 9:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery
