Lyda L. Curitti Lara, 69, of Howland, went to be with the Lord at 9:58AM Thursday March 9, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born October 20, 1947 in McMechen, West Virginia the daughter of Hugo and Lydia Blake Curitti.

She was a 1965 graduate of Howland High School and was employed for seven years at Delphi Packard Electric and later became a homemaker.  She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Niles and was involved in the Wednesday morning Life Group and enjoyed reading, bowling, and offering uplifting and inspirational quotes to her children.

Lyda was deeply grounded in her Christian faith and shared it with her children and family.  She was blessed with a great sense of humor and quick wit which kept everyone entertained.  Her true calling in life was nurturing her children along with being a mother figure to countless others.  Her unconditional love and support for her family and friends made her an angel on earth and she will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.  

She will be deeply missed by her husband Ronald whom she married October 15, 1992, four sons, Chuck Vigorito (Robyn) of Colorado, Danny Vigorito of Pennsylvania, Nathan Vigorito (Traci) of Niles, Josh Vigorito of St. Clairsville , two daughters. Lyda Vigorito of Niles and Lisa Dodge (Gary) of South Carolina, two brothers, Hugo Curitti (Nancy) of Nebraska, and John Mott of Canada, two sisters, Lynn Carey and Lana Curitti of Warren, eight grandchildren, Christina (Eric), Nino, Evan, Marin, Vinny, Gary Jr., Shelby, Cami, two great-grandchildren, Brynlee and Brooklynn, five step-children, Shelly Greco (Fernando), Ronnie Lara (Carrie), Tina Wilkins (Jeff), Lisa Lara, Nicole Lara, eight step-grandchildren, and one great step-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Matthew Vigorito.

Private services will be held.
