Marjorie May Witherstine, 96, of Niles died at 1:37PM Friday July 28, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Warren Hospital.
She was born July 24, 1921 in Phalanx, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Esther Saltsman Parker.
She was a 1939 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, a homemaker, member of The First Church of The Nazarene in Niles, The Dames of Malta where she served as queen, and enjoyed reading and cooking.
Her husband Raymond Witherstine Sr. whom she married October 2, 1939 died March 10, 1999.
She will be sadly missed by a daughter Anita Scott ( John) of Niles, a son Raymond Witherstine Jr.( Patty) of Niles grandchildren, John E. Scott(Beth), Tami Collins(George), Matthew Witherstine, and Chrissy Witherstine, seven great-grandchildren, Brian(Crystal), Mikayla, Sadie, Sydney, Dominic, Dakota, and Riley, two great-great-grandsons, Hunter and Bentley, and three sister-in-laws, Betty Parker, Shirley Parker, and Donna Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Charles Parker, Ralph Parker, and Gordon Parker.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7PM and Tuesday from 11AM to Noon at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral services will be held Noon Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Gary Morgan officiating.
Burial will be in North Jackson Cemetery.
