Mary Laverne Kubli, 97, of Niles, passed away at 12:20AM Sunday August 25, 2019 at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Home in Howland.
She was born March 26, 1922 in Van Voorhis, Pennsylvania the daughter of William and Mary Ann Nolder Shaw.
She was a 1941 graduate of Jefferson High School and a graduate of The Penn Commercial Business College.
Mary was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church in Howland and its choir, The Niles Bicentennial Choir, Warren Civic Chorus, and The Niles Historical Society where she served as a docent and secretary. She was also a Red Cross volunteer, Niles poll worker, and member of The Vienna Air Force Ladies Association. She enjoyed reading, needle work, and spending time with her family.
Her husband Fred Kubli Jr. whom she married November 25, 1943 died May 9, 2016.
She will be sadly missed by two sons David Kubli and his wife Elaine of Columbus and Timothy Kubli and his wife Rosemary of Canfield, two daughters, Diane L. Marrara and her husband Anthony of Champion and Michele Kubli of Azusa, California, eight grandchildren, Gary Marrara and his wife Carrie, Joseph Marrara and his wife Monica, Heather Southerington and her husband Mike, Todd Kubli and his wife Lindsey, Alex Kubli and his wife Aubrey Bowser, Eric Kubli, Tyler Morales, and Lucinda Beach, and seven great-grandchildren, Anthony Marrara, Madeline Marrara, Christopher Southerington, Fedya J. Southerington, Braxton Kubli, Giovanni Marrara, and Joseph R. Marrara,
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Shaw, William Shaw, and Franklin Shaw, and one sister, Helen Louise Webb.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles and 10AM to 11AM Thursday at The Living Lord Lutheran Church in Howland.
Funeral Services will be held 11AM Thursday at The Living Lord Lutheran Church in Howland with Pastor Bill Leitch officiating.
Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
