Mary Ann Davison Obituary

Mary Ann Davison, 80, died Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Austintown Healthcare Center, Austintown, Ohio.  Mary Ann was born June 21, 1939, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Her parents were Mary Ethel Adams Davison Blough and William Davison.

Mary Ann graduated from Dale High School in 1957.  She attended University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown.  She eventually moved to Pittsburgh and in 1966 began working for National Torch Tip, in Aspinwall, Pennsylvania.   She retired from there in 1999.  While working there, she became the Chief Steward for the IUE Union.  Mary Ann enjoyed reading, traveling to the beach, shopping trips to Wal-Mart, and the loyal companionship of her cat, Charlie Brown. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her niece and nephew, and great nieces.

Mary Ann leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Alice Vargo, of Altoona, Pennsylvania, and Cathy Bittman and her husband Arthur John Bittman, of Howland, Ohio, and a brother, William Joseph Davison, and wife Joette, of Tintah, Minnesota.  She also leaves her special niece and nephew, Amy Blackburn of Austintown, and Ajay Bittman, of Pittsburgh, as well as nephews David Davison and wife Lisa, Joseph Davison and wife Jennifer, and niece Teresa Bennett and husband Kevin, all of California.  She was great aunt to Marissa Blackburn, Megan Blackburn, of Austintown, and Paige, Tiffany, and Kevin Davison Randi Laureanti and husband Shiloh, and Vera Bennett, all of California.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Patricia Bittman Davison and nephew, William Joseph Davison, Jr. 

Funeral services will be conducted at Benshoff Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.  

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
