Nina Corturillo

Nina Corturillo, 87, of Lordstown, died at 12:40PM Thursday April 6, 2017 at Vista Care Center at The Ridge in Mineral Ridge.

She was born October 2, 1929 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania the daughter of Nick and Maria Curturillo Santinoceto.

Nina was a homemaker, member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, Infante Jesus of Prague Guild, and Lordstown Garden Club. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, crocheting, and ballroom dancing.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Philip Corturillo whom she married July 25, 1953, a son, Anthony Corturillo and his wife Janice of Hudson, a sister Thelma Calabria of Niles, two grandchildren, Emily Corturillo of Bloomington, Indiana and Amanda Corturillo of Lordstown, and a sister-in-law, Rose Santinoceto of Niles.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ignatius “Pat” Corturillo,  a brother Sam Santinoceto, and a brother-in-law Frank Calabria.

Friends may call Monday from 8:30AM to 9:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lordstown Cemetery.
