Steve M. Sleyzak Jr., 70, of Niles, passed away at 8:35PM Saturday January 26, 2019 at his residence.

He was born August 22, 1948 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania the son of Steve and Ruth Sleyzak Sr.

Steve was a 1966 graduate of Mapletown High School and was of Baptist faith. Steve served our country in The United States Air Force for 24 years as an air traffic controller. He retired in 1992 as rank of Master Sergeant.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Nooloy  Sleyzak whom he married December 27 1973, a son James Sleyzak of Niles, two daughters Chulai Sleyzak of Warren and Sherry Sleyzak of Niles, two brothers, Larry Sleyzak and his wife Janine of Arizona and Michael Sleyzak and his wife Cheryl of Macedonia, Ohio, two sisters, Patricia Kowalski and her husband Joseph of Macedonia, Ohio and Margaret Sizemore and her husband Benjamin of Bedford, Ohio,and ten grandchildren, Jason, Autumn, Destiny, Charity, Mackenzie, Ethan, Kairan, Nooloy, Sebastian, and Katelyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Noah Sleyzak.

Friends may call from 10AM until the time of the Noon funeral service Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Dave Luther officiating.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery where Steve will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
