Tomasina D. Naples, 97, of Niles, passed away at 9:20AM Wednesday April 18, 2018 at her residence.
She was born September 10, 1920 in Niles the daughter of Dominic and Filomena LaSalandra D’Antuono.
Tomasina was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, a licensed beautician, and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening. She was especially proud of her beautiful rose bushes and geraniums. She also enjoyed cooking and baking
Tomasina married Sam Naples on November 21, 1940 and they enjoyed 41 years together until his death on October 6, 1981.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Eleanor D’Antuono, with whom she made her home, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis Muche, Anthony D’Antuono, and Samuel D’Antuono, and three sisters, Regina Paris, Mary Pavone, and Phyllis Antonelli.
Friends may call Saturday from 8:00AM to 9:00AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, with Fr. Ronald Nuzzi officiating, preceded by a 9:00AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
