Adam Francis, 84, of Niles passed away Thursday June 14 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Known to everyone as "Flash", he was born April 8, 1928 in Niles, the son of Paul and Mary DiFabio Francis. He was a 1945 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed as an engineer at East Ohio Gas Company for 40 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, past member and King Lion of The Niles Lions Club, enjoyed watching sports, basketball, avid golfer and a great fan of boxing and he was a member of The Legends of Leather. Flash's unique personality left strangers and friends liking or loving him. His sense of humor endeared him to many. He will be deeply missed by his wife Nancy Zupon Francis whom he married October 27, 1956, a daughter Tracy Ozanich, a son Alan Francis and a sister Josephine Paridon of Niles. He is preceded in death by a brother Ralph Francis. Private Funeral Services will be held at a later date.
