Obituary

Aline V. Pappada, 91, of Niles, died at 10:10AM Sunday July 22, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 2, 1920 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Roger and Agnes Zapp Plennes.

Aline was a 1938 graduate of South High School in Milwaukee, a homemaker, member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed spending time with her family, had a love for music and played the accordion in her younger days.

Her husband Dominic Pappada whom she married June 20, 1945 died October 4, 2000.

Aline, who was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, will be deeply missed by four sons, David Pappada and his wife Susan of Niles, Jim Pappada and his wife Linda of Niles, Ralph Pappada and his wife Sharon of Warren, and Nick Pappada and his fiancAC.e Maggie Riley of Niles , two daughters, Donna Lee and her husband Robert of Newton Falls, and Dianne Pappada with whom she made her home, 11 grandchildren, David Pappada and his wife Karlene, Andrea Bucci and her husband Dan, Marc Pappada and his wife Stephanie, Brian Pappada and his wife Mary, Jim Pappada and his wife Stacey, Scott Pappada, Laura Pappada, Ashley Pappada, Nick Pappada, Anthony Vine, and Lyndsae Vine, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a brother Gene R. Plennes.

Friends may call from 5 to 8PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 7:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Reverend John-Michael Lavelle, D. Min., Pastor officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

The family is forever grateful to her loving caregiver Lisa Ratliff and all of the wonderful staff of Grace Hospice of Boardman, Ohio and the Visiting Physicians of Boardman.
