Amanda H. Wood-Leedy, 44 of Newton Falls, died at 11:38AM Tuesday December 31, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown due to an accident at home.

She was born March 6, 1969 in Wayne, Michigan the daughter of Bobby J. and Normalee Guenther Wood.

She was a 1987 graduate of Cloverleaf High School and attended The University of Akron.

She was employed at The Travel Center of America as a store/fuel field trainer in Lodi, Ohio for 29 years, was of The Christian Faith, enjoyed golfing, motorcycle riding with her husband, and playing softball.

Amanda, who enjoyed life to the fullest, gave the gift of life even after her death through organ donation, will be deeply missed by her father and mother Bobby J. and Normalee Wood of Chippewa, Ohio, her husband Eugene B. Leedy Jr. whom she married September 24, 2005, three sons, Mathew R. Swingle of Newton Falls, Christopher R. Leedy of Charleston, South Carolina, and Frank K. Short of Cleveland, three daughters, Paige E. Swingle of Newton Falls, Maria N. Leedy of Newton Falls, and Gena R. Leedy of Newton Falls, three brothers, David Wood and his wife Mimi of Charlotte, North Carolina, Todd Wood and his wife Cynthia of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, and Aaron Wood of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, two sisters, Robin Skrant and her husband Mike of Spencer, Ohio, Stacie Kovach and her husband Mike of Lafayette, Ohio, an unborn granddaughter, Emilia Rose Leedy -Willsey, her nieces Tina Madigan and her husband Jamie, Sasha Vormelker and her husband Adam, Bethany Grunenwald and her husband Mark, Breanna Wood, Michaela Kovach, Ruth Ann Evans, Lisa Kovach, her nephews, Jeshua Skrant and his wife Michelle, Trevor Wood, Ty Kovach, and 13 great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Wood.

Friends may call from 3 to 7PM Wednesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles and from 10 to 11AM Thursday at The Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 3101 DeForest Road, SE, Warren, Ohio.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00AM Thursday at The Apostolic Pentecostal Church with Pastors Mike Skrant and Douglas Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
