Angeline G. Costello, 91 of Niles , died at 2:25AM Monday, October 25, 2010, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Home in Niles, Ohio.

She was born February 7 1919 in Youngstown the daughter of Anthony and Mary Portanvo Monteforte.

She was employed for six years in the cafeteria for the Niles City Schools and spent time working at The McKinley Heights Bakery.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, Mt. Carmel Society, and Church festival volunteer.

She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, baking, crocheting, walking, socializing with neighbors, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her husband Frank J. Costello whom she married June 24, 1939 died October 20, 1995.

She will be deeply missed by a son Richard Costello of Cortland, a daughter Patricia Brown and her husband Bill of Fowler, three brothers, Tony Monteforte of Mantua, Michael Monteforte of Niles, and Luke Monteforte and his wife Yolanda of Niles, a sister Rose Monteforte of Niles, four grandchildren, Richard, Michael, Joseph, and Lisa, eight great-grandchildren, Emerson, Evan, Connor, Kayla, James, Megan,Willie, and Karyle, and a great-greatgrandchild Brooklyn.

Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society will conduct prayers at 4:45PM and The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will held 9:30AM Friday at Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, with Fr. Larry Frient officiating, preceded by a 9AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
