Angeline Alice Morabito, 84, of Niles died at 1:03PM Sunday March 13, 2016 at The Vista Center at The Ridge in Mineral Ridge.

She was born September 7 1931 in Niles, Ohio the daughter of Mariano and Angeline Macceo Morabito. She was the youngest of seven children and a lifelong resident of Niles.

Angie was a 1949 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and began working in the family grocery store, Morabito's Robbins Supermarket, at the age of 14. It began as a fruit stand and expanded in the 1940's by her brothers Samuel and John into the first Italian Market in Niles. Angie devoted much of her life to the business becoming owner with her sister Margaret after the passing of their brothers. She appreciated all of her customers knowing most on a first name basis. Though she loved serving the public, the business was sold in 2004, its legacy as an outstanding business in the City of Niles will forever be remembered.

Her faith carried her though life's daily trials and tribulations. A long time member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, she read her bible often and remained devout throughout her life.  After retirement she enjoyed traveling with her sister. They took trips to Europe and Cuba. In their younger years they were lucky enough to meet their cousins on a trip to Italy. They often spent the winter months together in Florida. She also enjoyed swimming, boating, bowling, and cooking Italian Food. She was an avid reader and had a passion for music and dancing. Angie always took pride in her appearance. She always had her hair done, make- up intact and was a very sharp dresser. She truly was a lady.

Angie being raised in such a close knit family with her old-fashioned values and pride remained very close to her sister Margie. They bought a house together in 2004 and when Margie became ill, Angie became her loyal and loving caregiver. Angie's unconditional love for Margie never faltered throughout the years.

Angie was also blessed with a wonderful niece, Mary Elizabeth Razzano, who stepped in as caregiver over her aunt when Angie could no longer do so. Mary did everything in her power with help from devoted aides to keep Angie and Margie safe and well taken care of. Angie was truly grateful for the love and care she received.

Angie will be deeply missed by her nieces Mary Elizabeth Razzano of Niles andMargaret Ann Cintavey and her husband Don of Rehobeth Beach, Delaware, her nephews, John Morabito and his wife Marsha of Girard, Andrew Razzano and his wife Carrie of Niles, and Frank Razzano of Cleveland,Ohio, nine great nieces and nephews, and fourteen great great nieces and nephews.

Angie was preceded in death by her loving parents, her brothers, baby John, John, Sam, Sebastian"Buster" Morabito and her sister Mary Alice Razzano.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
