Angelyn (Angie) C. Prezioso passed away at 7:25 AM on Tuesday, July 10th in Strongsville, Ohio. She was 80 years old.
She was born on August 6, 1931 in Mingo Jct., Ohio the daughter of Loretto and Clara Recchio DiNofrio. She moved to Niles, Ohio to marry the love of her life John G. Prezioso on May 9 1953 and who passed away March 25, 1972. She lived in Niles until 2001 when she moved to Strongsville, Ohio to live with her daughters.
She is survived by her three daughters, Clare (Mike) Gales and Loraine (Dirk) Abernathy of Strongsville, Ohio with whom she lived; Sue (Fred) Bury of Westerville, Ohio, and her son Neil (Cindy) Prezioso of Powell, Ohio; a sister Catherine DiNofrio Walters of Mingo Junction, Ohio as well as her beloved grandchildren Brent and Brittany Little, Aly and Kirsten Abernathy, Derek and Jordan Gales, Danielle Prezioso and two great grandchildren Aniya Scott and Piper Little whom gave her so much joy the past four years.
She was proceeded in death by her husband John G. Prezioso , her parents Loretto and Clara Recchio DiNofrio; step-father James Carlucci, brother Henry DiNofrio, sisters Sue DiNofrio Lugano and Antoinette DiNofrio Barbarini.
Angie was an amazing mother ,wife, grandmother, and friend who dedicated her life to her family and her faith in God. She had an infectious laugh, huge heart, and put everyone before herself. She will be missed each and every day by all who knew her. She worked as a bookeeper for the Security Dollar Bank of Niles, Ohio for 30 years retiring in 1994 and was a member and strong supporter of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, Ohio, The Renewal Team, Padre Pio Prayer Group, Bicentennial Choir, and current member of St. John Neuman Catholic Church in Strongsville.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 7:30PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Reverend John-Michael Lavelle, D. Min, officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
