Anne J. Miranda, 91, of Niles, died Tuesday September 2, 2014 at The Vista Care Center at The Ridge in Mineral Ridge.

She was born November 14, 1922 in Youngstown the daughter of Frances and Julia Granatoski Babyak.

She was a 1940 graduate of Warren Harding High School and employed as a bus driver for Fairhaven Schools for 20 years retiring in 1984.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed gardening, reading, and traveling to Williamsburg and other colonial sites.

Her husband Albert Miranda Sr. whom she married November 10, 1942 died December 29, 1993.

She will be deeply missed by four sons, Albert Miranda Jr. of Niles, Terry Miranda of Niles, Edward Miranda of Reno, Nevada, and Ronald Miranda of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a daughter Patrice Lynch and her husband Thomas of Niles, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
