Anthony M. D'Antuono, 89, died 6:45am June 21st at Shepherd of the Valley nursing home in Niles.

Tony was born October 20, 1925 in Niles, the son of Domenic and Filomena LaSalandra D'Antuono.

Tony graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1943 and was later a graduate from Hair school. He moved to New York City where he became a hairdresser at Bloomingdales and later  moved to San Diego where he continued as a hairdresser. Tony was a United States Navy veteran.

He will be deeply missed by two sisters, Tomasina Naples and Eleanor D'Antuono both of Niles and several nieces and nephews.

Tony is preceded in death by two brothers Sam D'Antuono and Louis Muche and 3 sisters Mary Pavone, Regina Paris, Phyllis Antonelli.

A Service of Christian burial will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
