Anthony P. Logan, 78, of Niles, Ohio and Cape Coral Florida passed away, from a brain aneurysm with his family at his bedside on August 13, 2014 at 1:09 P.M. at Health Park Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida.
Anthony was born on August 25, 1935, the son of James E. and Betty Surin Logan.
He was a 1954 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, and served in the United States Army in Germany in the late 1950's. He enjoyed gardening and cooking. He was most proud of his sons' accomplishments and of his loving daughter in-laws. His grandsons were his pride and joy. Anthony was a great rhymer and kept his family laughing with his jingles.
Anthony married his loving wife, Mary Ann Donatelli, with whom he shared 53 years of his life. They were the co-owners of Mariann's Beauty Salon in Niles for 28 years and Nicolino's Restaurant for 16 years. They moved to Florida 7 years ago, along with their son James and daughter-in-law, Danielle (Pezzulo) Logan and their three grandsons, Chevi (21), Michael (15) and James (14). Their younger son Nicolas is married to Lori (Golias) Logan and lives in Niles, Ohio with their son Nicolas (4).
He is also survived by a brother Ronald Logan, and two sisters, Terry Rossi and Betty Jane Powell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will be held at a later date in Niles.
Local arrangements are being held by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
