Anthony R. Nori, 79, of Niles, passed away on Thursday May 8, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Joseph's Warren Hospital. He was born January 12, 1946 in Warren, Ohio the son of Rocco and Angela Spagnuolo Nori. Anthony was a 1963 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. He was employed in the commercial construction industry retiring from VendRick Construction in Brookfield as chief construction estimator. He was a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Parish in Niles- Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Niles Lions Club where he served as King Lion and District Officer. He was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow and in 2004 received The International Presidents Certificate of Appreciation for Leadership and Service. He enjoyed golfing, music, dancing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his wife Marian Kramarich Nori whom he married July 27, 1974, a son Mark Nori of Howland, a step-son John Pokornowski and his wife Kristi of Geneva, Illinois, a brother Rocco A. Nori and his wife Mary of North Royalton, Ohio, three grandchildren, Tyler Pokornowski, Sean Pokornowski, and Emily Pokornowski, a sister-in-law Lois Nori of Niles, and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Michael Nori and Guy Nori. Friends may call from 10:30AM to 11:30AM Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held noon Thursday at Saint Pope John XXIII Parish in Niles-Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church preceded by a 11:30AM Niles Lions and prayer service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
