Anthony J. Stabile Jr., 88, of Niles died at 10:22PM Saturday December 17, 2016 at St. Joseph's  Hospital Eastland in Warren.

He was born July 9, 1928 in Niles the son of Anthony and Rose LaPolla Stabile Sr.

He was a 1946 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed as an electrician at Republic Steel for several years and after his retirement went on to work as an electrician on his own. Anthony was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working, gardening, swimming in the back yard pool, spending time with his great-grandchildren, and was a United States Naval veteran.

Anthony, who loved life, will be deeply missed by his wife Helen Patoray Stabile whom he married June 3, 1950, a daughter Deborah Stabile of Youngstown, two sisters, Kathryn Tauro of Niles, and Rita Gatta of Niles, a granddaughter, Kimberly Greene and her husband Danny of Highland Heights, Ohio, and three great-grandchildren, Raegan, Casey, and Brody.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Stabile, Leroy Stabile, and Robert Stabile, and two sisters, Corsina Yannarella and Mary Jane O'Neil
