Antoinette "Toni" Ross, 55, died Sunday December 8th in Howland. She was born November 29, 1958 in Warren the daughter of Dominick and Marilyn Mosier Gatta. Toni was a 1977 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, attended Youngstown State University, and graduated from Kent State University with an RN degree. She started her career as a Registered Nurse at St. Joe's in Warren. After taking leave to raise and spend time with her children she became employed as a nurse at Howland Glen Elementary School since 2004. Toni was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren and was involved in the Howland Boosters. She loved, cared, and always gave to her family and friends. Nursing and taking care of others was what she lived for. She incredibly enjoyed cooking, dancing, music, watching sports, and attending her children's sporting events. She will be deeply missed by her mother Marilyn "Mickey" Gatta of Niles, her husband John A. Ross II of Howland, who she married July 19, 1986, three sons John A. Ross III, Kevin L. Ross, Sean Ross, and a daughter Alexis Ross all of Howland, a brother Dominic (Charlotte) Gatta of Niles, six sisters Pat (Butch) Gelet of Hubbard, Sandy (Gabe) Marchionte of McDonald, Gerri (George) Rohan of North Lima, Marilyn (Charlie) Davis of Niles, Heidi (Jim) Swift of Niles, Katrina "Tina" (Steve) Brill of Howland, a sister in law Renee (Rocky) Maiorca of Cortland, a brother in law Joe Ross of Cleveland, a brother in law Brian (Kim) Ross of Howland, beloved nieces and nephews, and her loving animals Zeke, Mario, Spooky, Bubba, Lulu, Nala, Coco, Otis, Boo and Rossini. Toni was preceded in death by her father Dominick Gatta, father in law and mother in law Joseph M. and Dolores Ross, and brother in law Kevin L. Ross. Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles and Saturday from 10-11am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren.
