Dr. Antonio Gonzalez, 68, of Niles passed away at 4:34PM Friday May 22, 2020 at his residence.

He was born June 17, 1951 in Spain the son of Antonio Gonzalez Pérez and Rifaela Castro Aranda Gonzalez.

Dr. Gonzalez came to The United States as a medical doctor in 1975. He  continued his training in The United States and came to Warren as a neurologist from The National institute of Health. From 1981 to 2016 he was a practicing neurologist at St. Joseph's Hospital and Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Dr.  Gonzalez was of The Catholic Faith.

He will be deeply missed by a brother, Gregorio Gonzalez Castro and his wife Maria Concepaon of Spain, a sister Maria Dolores Gonzalez Castro and her husband Angel of Spain,a sister-in-law Maria Dolores of Spain, and 12 nieces and nephews  of Spain .Significant people locally in his life include Elizabeth Fugini, Christine Rakich, and Ashley Haines and her husband J.R.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Juan De Dios Gonzalez Castro.

Memorial services are private.
