Arnaldo Franco, 82, of Warren, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born September 23, 1942 in Caulonia, Italy the son of Vincenzo and Marianna Lamberto Franco. Arnaldo came here from Italy in 1966 and then later worked as a tailor for many years at The Gentry Company. He was co-owner of A & A Motors in Warren, owned Arnaldo's Pizza in Cortland and then was employed at Armando's Inc. in Boardman retiring in 2006. He was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Saint James Church in Warren, enjoyed playing cards, Formula 1 Racing, wrestling, the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family. Aside from being proud of his Italian heritage and becoming an American citizen, he loved his family-especially his grandchildren. He valued hard work and hoped that his children and grandchildren would embrace the same strong work ethic. He will be deeply missed by his wife Teresa Dichiera Franco whom he married September 26, 1971, his son Vincenzo Franco and his wife Kelley of Girard, his daughter Julie Massucci of Howland, two brothers, Corrado Franco and his wife Silvana of Italy and Ilario Franco of France, a sister, Lilliana Basile of Italy, and four grandchildren, Luca Massucci, Marianna Franco, Marco Massucci, and Ambrose Franco. He was preceded in death by his brother Tonino Franco and his sister Dora Franco. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles and 9AM to 9:50AM Friday at Saint Teresa of Calcutta, Saint James Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Friday at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Saint James Church, 2532 Burton Street, SE, Warren, Ohio 44484.
