Bonita M. Babcock, 78, of Niles, passed away on October 3, 2022 at Forum Health St. Joseph's Warren Hospital. She was born November 12, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Sheldon and Ethelyn Oatman Singkofer. Bonita was a 1961 graduate of Janesville High School in Wisconsin, was employed for 25 years at The Paperback Shack in Niles, attended Pleasant Valley Church in Liberty, enjoyed bowling, reading at The McKinley Memorial Library in Niles, and volunteered as a poll worker. He will be deeply missed by her husband Patrick Babcock whom she married November 11, 1963, two sons James Babcock of Marionville, Indiana and Daniel Babcock and his wife Jennifer of Niles, and a sister Marlene Wiezorek of Cottage Grove Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jeff, Jim, and Mark Singkofer. Friends may call one hour prior to the noon memorial service Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
