Candace K. "Candy" Christy, 74, of Cortland, passed away on Tuesday April 29, 2025 at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland. She was born April 10, 1951 in Warren the daughter of Carl and Dorothy Buccella Bianco. Candy was a 1969 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed at Brainard Rivet in Girard as executive assistant and Concord Care Centers in the billing department. After retirement she worked her dream job at Daffin's  Candy in the Eastwood Mall. She enjoyed showing dogs, riding motorcycles, and vacationing in Aruba with her husband Larry. Her husband Larry Christy whom she married October 19, 1984 died January 29, 2008. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jodi Clark and her husband Chad of Cortland, three grandchildren Gavin Clark and his wife Olivia, Kamryn Kovach and her husband Will, and Madisyn Clark(Peter Lerakis), four great-grandchildren Lydia, Ariella, Gianna, and Jessi, her sister-in-laws  Linda Bianco and Peggy Christy, her nieces Shelley Perrett and Tina Christy, and many cousins She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother James "Binky" Bianco. There are no services. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
