Carmen E. Sena, 91, of Niles died at 5:29PM Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.

He was born October 20, 1922 in Bagnoli, Italy the son of Dominic and Carmella Buccino Sena and came to the United States at the age of four settling in Niles with his parents.

He was a Niles McKinley High School graduate, employed as a Union plumber, and also worked for Niles City Schools for 10 years prior to his retirement. He was a life long member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Parish in Niles and would always be volunteering his time setting up for the church's annual festival. He enjoyed vacations with his wife, golfing with his buddies, gardening and was a United States Naval Veteran of World War II having served for three years on The Battleship USS New Jersey.

Carmen, who loved his family and enjoyed life long friendships, will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years, Carmella(Carmel) Prezioso Sena, two sons , Dominic Sena of California and Stephen Sena of Vienna, a daughter Mary Lou Sipusic of Corland, a brother Anthony Sena of California, a sister Rose Capriotti of Niles, four grandchildren, Alyson Brown, Nick Sena, Kristen Terlecky, and Stefanie Burcham, and four great-grandchildren, Leo, Everly, Addison, and Jackson.

He is preceded in death by a brother Dominic Sena Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery where Carmen will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
