Carolyn L. Gambetti, 71 of Niles, went to be with the Lord and her husband Ronald, the love of her life, on Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren surrounded by her loving daughters.

She was born March 8, 1942, in Sharon, PA., the daughter of Robert and Claire Thompson Rush.

She was a 1960 honors graduate of Sharpsville High School, employed as a receptionist at Westinghouse and an Escrow Officer for Charter One Bank before retiring in 2001.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Niles where she assisted in Sunday school and a teacher's aide at Bonham Elementary. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and the beach, flower gardening, reading and watching her grandchildren participate in their recreational activities.

Carolyn, who adored her husband, children, grandchildren, mother, and sister, will be deeply missed by her mother Claire Rush of Hermitage, PA., her two daughters, Lisa Gambetti Ciriello of Niles, and Gina Gambetti Mahramas and her husband George of Howland, a sister Madolyn Brown of Mercer, PA., and her four grandchildren, Brandon and Hunter Ciriello and George Jr. and Sophia Mahramas.

She is preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Ronald E. Gambetti, whom she married November 30, 1963, and her father, Robert Rush.

Carolyn and Ron (Her Gam) will now be spending their 50th wedding anniversary together in heaven.

Arrangements are being held by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
