Carolyn Nardo Scerbo, 88, of 1510 Taft Ave. Niles, Ohio passed away at 7:00p.m. Saturday December 26, 2009, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born March 7, 1921 in the daughter of Joseph and Fillippa Nardo.

Carolyn was a 1940 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital as a nurses aid before going to work at Packard Electric in Warren for 24 years retiring in 1982.

She was a member of The Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, going to church, watching the TV mass, soap operas, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

A loving wife and mother, Carolyn will be deeply missed by her husband Constantino Scerbo whom she married September 6, 1952, three children, Gregory Scerbo and his wife Mary of Warren, Dolores Scerbo at home, and John Scerbo and his wife Jennifer of Chardon, and four grandchildren, Danielle, Nicholas, Joseph, and Marissa.

She is preceded in death by two brothers John Nardo and Anthony Nardo and three sisters Phyliss Nardo, Thelma Giancola, and Natalie Spinella.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, with Fr. Larry Frient officiating

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
